Mary Margo turned four months old Christmas day so now she is old enough for real food. She is doing wonderful eating from a spoon. She is still getting use to the taste and texture but so far she has tried apples, pears and bananas. Veggies are on there way.

A Visit from some Friends

Neisha, Anne, and Abigail came for a visit Saturday. We all went shopping and out to lunch at Cheeburger, Cheeburger. It was a fun time had by all! Thanks again Anne for the goodies! It is perfect with my morning cup of coffee.

Santa Came Early!

Not Really. We tried out the Johnny Jump Up this past weekend. Mary Margo doesn't quite understand yet what to do in it but she liked just hanging out in it. She bounced a little but mostly just sat in it and twirled around. It won't take long though for her to figure it out.

Merry Christmas

I am sure that every family goes through this every year. Getting the perfect picture for the Christmas card. We always had trouble getting Phoebe to sit and smile but Mary Margo didn't make it any easier this year. It took us several days, many hours, a few naps, feedings, and dress cleanings in between. We just laugh! It was fun playing photographer with little miss Mary Margo and we have a few good stories to tell along the way. I only chose one for the card. So here are a few other good ones that didn't make the cut. We wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas!

Playtime After Bath

Everynight after Mary Margo's bath we lay on the bed and play. Here lately she has become a little chatter box so she tells me stories. That is what we call it. She is so much fun laughing and chattering and making silly faces.

HeartStirngs Christmas Party

Getting ready for the party! Mom thought that a bath in the sink would be quick and easy. I think I am little too chubby for this sink. Maybe we should try the kitchen sink next time?

Happy Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving at my house this year!! It was lots of fun. I got up and watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade that Mommie and Aunt Mandy had told me about all week. It was fun to watch for a little while but it was too long and put me to sleep. Then I watched everyone eat some good looking food. I can't wait til next year when I can eat too! Mandy tried to let me taste a few things but I didn't like it!

Pheobe wanted us to give her some food real bad. She helped everyone in the kitchen hoping something would drop her way!

My Aunt Mandy kept me this week while Mommy and Daddy went to work. We had lots of fun together. She is pretty silly sometimes. We watched TV and took walks and she talked to me ALOT! Then one night we went out to eat at Mellow Mushroom, Mandy's favorite. I think I might like this joint one day too.....when I can eat real food. I have already picked out what I will try first...maybe a slice....maybe a calzone....

Baby Dedication

Mary Margo was dedicated in Church Sunday November 18th. She was a perfect angel in front of all those people and family. All her grandparents were here to see and Mandy came in from Texas to be here. We hosted everyone back at the house for lunch. Pheobe did not like all the company invading her space. She turned her back to Mandy when she tried to talk to her and be nice.

Mary Margo is fascinated by the TV and any kind of screen. I thought it was too funny when I was looking up shoes for her. She was just staring at the screen. It was like she was saying "I want them all Mommy"
While we were home this weekend, me and my mom went shopping! It is so much fun to shop for little girls. This is just a very small part of what we got. We bought her first pair of tights, shoes, and a hat to keep that little head warm. Aren't they CUTE! We are going to have to teach Dusty how to work the tights! : ) and he might have to teach me how to say no and turn and walk away from all the cute clothes!
