Christmas time is So much FUN!

What a wonderful Christmas we had at the Hall house and at home in Gadsden with family and friends. Mary Margo was a good little girl and santa brought her all kinds of goodies.

From her grandparents, she got a cradle and highchair for her dolls. She has fed the doll and put her to sleep just about everyday since she received it!

We woke up Christmas morning in Auburn. Santa came and mommy had to pull Mary Margo and Daddy out of the bed. I can't help it. I am still like a little kid on Christmas. I woke up at 5:45 ready to open presents. I let them sleep till 6:30 and then I couldn't wait any longer. Mary Margo had to have a biscuit first, though. She had no clue that there were presents under the tree for her.

Santa brought a xylophone and a new doll. Mary Margo really likes her xylophone so much that we took it on the road and she played it for us in the car on the way home.

Notice the biscuit close beside her.

Have to take a biscuit break!

Once in Gadsden we opened presents there too. Mary Margo got a tea set, crayons, coloring books and lots of other cool stuff. But the best present of all was getting to play with Aunt Mandy for 4 whole days.

It's Christmas Time! Yippee!

We are having too much fun here enjoying the holiday season.   Mary Margo is loving it!  She helped us decorate by putting a few ornaments on the tree.  She doesn't quiet understand hanging the ornaments.  She just made two piles in the tree for her ornaments.

Mary Margo loves to look at the tree and when it is not on she points at it until we turn it on.  I left her in the living room one day and when I went back to check on her she was trying to carry her chair to the tree.  I helped her a little and then she went and got her baby doll and sat down at the tree.  She then started pointing  at the tree and then to her doll.  She was jabbering the whole time to the tree and then her baby.  It was like she was telling her baby about the tree and what it was all about.  It was so cute!  We have gotten so much joy watching her take all the magic of Christmas into her cute little head.

I see a sweet treat!

Trick or Treat!  Last night we all went out for a night of halloween fun.  Mary Margo went as a little pink chick-a-dee.  (Costume designed and made by Mom, of course)  We all had a great time.

Mary Margo's First Auburn Game

What a busy weekend!  The Pumpkin Patch, a day on campus, and the Auburn Game, we are worn out.  I think we are going to take it easy today!  Yesterday we took Mary Margo up to campus to listen to Crossroads (Dusty's band) play at the alumni tent and then we all headed to the game.  Mary Margo was a little wiggly at first but after about 15 minutes she couldn't fight the nap any longer.  She passed out until half time and then we came home.  The day was lots of fun and we all slept extremely well last night.

Pumpkin Patch

Friday night we visited the pumpkin patch for fun with friends and to celebrate Wendy's Birthday.

Mary Margo and Francie playing with the pumpkins.

Mary Margo with her gourd Ansley picked for her.  Ansley thought it was just her size!

The Hayride was the highlight of the night.  Mary Margo thought it was something.  She loved the tractor and the bumping around.  She laughed, giggled, squealed and clapped her hands the whole time.  It was so much fun for all of us.

Our Happy Little House on Gay

I am posting tonight to let you all in on our house blog. I have finally put some post on there about all the progress we are making on the house. I will post as long as there is something to post about. With football season and everything else life throws our way, it is a slow process. So check in on it every once in a while and see what we are up to!

Gulf Shores

We went to the beach this past weekend with The Webbs.  Despite hurricane Ike in the Gulf, it was a great trip.

Our condo had a zero entry pool.  It was wonderful for the kids.  It also had these fountains. Warren loved them.  He ran right through them with no fear.  Mary Margo, on the other hand, stood and cried when she got close.  She warmed up a little but never got closer than the picture above.

The family
Let me just say, "WOW, what a difference a few months make.  Our last trip to the beach, Mary Margo was crawling.  This trip she was walking and exploring.  She loved the sand and the ocean.  Warren and her collected shells in their buckets and had lots of fun together.
So much for a relaxing vacation at the beach.

This is the hurricane winds we faced when we went outside.  It was so strong.  Thank you, Ike.

Warren and Mary Margo waking up to cartoons and milk.  This is Warren's couch and he didn't take too kindly to Mary Margo sitting with him.  He did at least let us get a picture.
