Mommy's Heels

IT'S AMAZING!  Mary Margo walks better in these heels than I do.  Maybe the key is wearing them on the wrong foot.  I feel I need to add that she put these shoes on in the back bedroom and walked all the way up the hall to the kitchen, then I turned on the camera.  She never even tripped.  Maybe she will be a runway model.

BIG FISH!!

We slipped away on Monday for a little family time and a special trip to the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta for our little Birthday Girl.  Mary Margo loved it!  She was so amazed by all the "Big Fish"
Alligator....Chop Chop!

The crabs were pretty fascinating too!

Wow, how those little eyes see with such wonder and amazement.  If only we all could see the world through the eyes of a child.

Yum Yum Strawberries

Tonight after dinner, we realized that....well....it had been a while since Mary Margo had had a dirty diaper. So like all good parents we pulled the prunes out of the back of the pantry and served up dessert. Now, on any given day Mary Margo will eat prunes like we are feeding her double stuffed oreos. Seriously, we have to pace her. NOT TONIGHT! She played with them, then she pushed them away, then she cried, then we threatened, then we tried dealing with her she could have a cookie if she eats the prune, Nothing was working. Dusty got out a yogurt cup and told her she could have it if she eats the prune. Not even the yogurt cup was the answer. Well sad to say....we gave in. I know, we are never suppose to do that....but we gave her the yogurt anyway. Then like a light bulb .... cut the prune up and mix it in! BRILLIANT! As I was cutting it up and slipping it in, Dusty was talking to Mary Margo about the strawberry pictured on top of the yogurt cup. This yogurt was just plain ol vanilla. (One of those half vanilla and half strawberry packs). We started feeding her the mixture, with every bite Mary Margo would say "Strawberry" She was so confused. She would squint her eyes and look at us and then she would squirm in her seat and make a face like she was eating a sour lemon. Then she would look up and Dusty and say it again, "Strawberry"?? She was pretty sure those weren't strawberries in her yogurt. Poor thing! Tricked by her own parents to eat prunes. YUCK!

Oh the joy's of parenthood!
