Sew...I've been a little busy

I got a little inspired this week. Dusted off the sewing machine that I haven't worked on in at least three or four months and started sewing. Once I started I couldn't stop! Here are a few pics of all the creations I made this week

A Love Shirt for the sweet little girl I love!

Don't get excited, we don't know if we are having a boy or a girl. I made these cute "little man" onesies for a friend at work. I was telling her about them and then realized I could make them for her little man, Parker. So I came home that very night (after a quick trip to Wally World for the onsies) and whipped 'em up!

Butterfly dress for spring. Won't Mary Margo be adorable? Now we just need the weather to warm up so we can wear it.

Auburn "Scrappy Skirt" for next fall. I am way ahead of myself, I know. Making clothes for next fall seems a little ridiculous. But I have been wanting to make this skirt and the other night I was playing in my scraps and out came this skirt. Sometimes you don't plan to sew things and then you just find yourself inspired and you keep "playing" until you complete the project all together.

The Auburn skirt was so easy that here is scraps for the next scrappy skirt. I will make it in the appropriate size for this summer! This pattern is SO EASY, hence the reason I am making another one.

And here is the fabric for Mary Margo's new Big Sister room. I am so excited about this room. I had to get all of the previous projects out of the way so that I can focus on this. The fabric came this week and I sat down today to figure out what I am going to do with all of it. Pillows, wall art, etc. The sweet little tweetie bird I found several months ago and had to have it!

This is a sketch of Mary Margo's bed and what I think I want it to look like. We will see what it really turns into. I am pretty good and changing my mind. This is just today's thoughts.

And here is little projects I hope to get done next week. HA! Who am I kidding? This is a great bag we got in at the store last week. I took down the measurements because it has some potential. It could be a great diaper bag in my future. It just needs a few Peggy Ann touches.

And here is a stack of fabric that I MUST do something with. I see shorts and matching appliqued tee's in it's future.

Now, after all that I wonder....where did I find time to do all that this past week. I must have neglected something. Maybe dishes or laundry or dinner a few nights, who knows. But don't worry Mary Margo was not neglected at all. She helps me when I sew. She likes to sit at my sewing table and draw while I piddle. Then when I start up the machine she sits in my lap and watches in amazement as the needles jump up and down. One night this week, she told me she was making PayPay (her imaginary friend) a dress. She finally finished it today...or so she says.

It's GREAT to Be an AUBURN TIGER!

Just like every other Auburn Fan in the nation, we couldn't be more proud and excited that Auburn won the BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! WAR EAGLE!!!!

We didn't make it down to the Corner that night. (I know, shame on us) But it was COLD COLD COLD and taking a three year old out at midnight didn't sound like the best idea I had ever come up with. But this is the aftermath. It was beautiful! I went straight to the corner that morning on my way to work to see. The paper was still pilled up so high that you couldn't see the ground. It is still up today...a week later. Thank you city of Auburn for letting us enjoy this amazing victory and tradition.

And what better way to enjoy the fun but with our best friends Ashley and Francie!!
