Carving and Being Witchy

And there goes October! I can't believe it is already November. We have had lots fun this Fall with football games, pumpkin patches, school parties and all the festivities that Halloween brings. It has been packed! We did find time for a little family fun carving pumpkins. Me and Dusty have been carving pumpkins since we were dating. It is just a little something we do every year. Of course the last four years we have shared this little family tradition with Mary Margo. One year she LOVED playing in all the goo that comes out of the inside of the pumpkin. She even tried eating it. But this year was a different story. She didn't want us to touch her with the yuckiness. She chose to pick the seeds out of the goo instead. We did get her to stick her hand in once or twice.

Here are our creations! Dusty's Scary Face, Mary Margo's Silly Face, and My Funny Face

Mary Margo and Aubie! She LOVES him so much. She doesn't quiet understand that Aubie is there for everyone and not just her. She cries when she has to leave him.

The Bells had to cut out early so they didn't make the picture. Every year we trick or treat at the Powell's house because they have such a wonderful neighborhood. This year the kids really got it. They said "trick or treat" and "thank you" and all they want to do is EAT CANDY!
