BEACH 2010

Every year we head to the coast with our dear friends, the Webbs. They have a little boy, Warren, that is exactly Mary Margo's age. They had so much fun playing with each other and swimming and jumping. Here are a few pics from the trip!

Sun Bathing in the HOT HOT Sun!

Tuesday we took a little road trip to Pensacola to see the Blue Angels practice and visit the museum. We saw a GREAT show, Mary Margo and Warren had fun driving Airplanes and the best part........IT WAS ALL FREE!!

We went to the beach only once. Our "condo beach" (what the little ones called it) was not on the beach so we had to load up everything and drive to the beach. This was a bigger job than we had anticipated. It was a good time had by all but it was extremely HOT! but I am happy to report the beach was beautiful as always. NO OIL!

Can't go to the beach without going to the arcade/gocart park atleast once. We had so much fun watching Warren and Mary Margo ride all the rides and win tickets in the arcade. Mary Margo won 105 tickets. She picked out all her prizes....a rubber ducky that looks like a horse, 3 plastic rings, a tiny neon plastic cat and a few stickers to finish out the tickets.

The Hall's and The Webb's
We have been vacationing together for 5 or so years and this is the first picture we have ever taken all together. Shame on us.

Time to go home.....Riding the cart down to the car. When we left Warren, Mary Margo started whining "I don't wanna go home" all the way to our car.

Aunt Mandy!

Every summer Aunt Mandy pays us a visit here in Auburn to spend some quality time with her favorite niece....and her baby sister.
Here is a little glimpse of what all we got into.

Here we are watching the fireworks show in Auburn. Or as Mary Margo called them fire truck works.

Miss USA on the 4th of July.

We went to see Toy Story. This was Mary Margo's first trip to the movies.

We walked down to town creek park to feed the turtles. They like to eat Ritz crackers. Mary Margo likes to eat them too. It's a bite for me bite for the turtle kind of adventure.

We did a little shopping! Cuz that's what sisters do when they get together.

We played at the park and taught Mary Margo how to swing like a monkey.

And swing like a human

Sweet Aunt Mandy carried Mary Margo all the way home.....she said it was a workout.

Walking on the walls. A highlight for Mary Margo on her stroll with Aunt Mandy

HOT FUN in the SUMMERTIME

We have been spending lots of time outside! Here are just a few highlights of what has been going on in our little world here in Auburn!

Nana and Dodaddy came to visit and brought their dog, Molly, with them. Mary Margo loves playing with her and chasing her around the backyard. Don't be fooled. Molly loves it too!

Auburn University has Family Fun Day every year for all University employees and their families. They have all kinds of games and food. All Mary Margo wanted to do is See AUBIE! She talked about Aubie from the minute she woke up that morning. When we finally did see him, she touched his tail and blew him kisses. She was all about him as long as he kept his distance. She locked her knees and started pushing back when we started to take this picture. I don't blame her. At her age, I would have NEVER got within 5 feet of him so I think she is doing great! Still to this day, Aubie is just about the only character I get this close to.

Auburn Art Walk 2010. Last night we went downtown for the Art Associations block party. They have all kinds of artist and things for kids to do. These tissue hats were one of the activities the kids could make. Mary Margo just borrowed this one from the girls making them. She didn't want to make one. She had too many things to do and see. Oh and we were trying to find Aubie. No time to stop when on the prowl for Aubie.

We never found Aubie but we found the band and danced. She ran around and helped the band entertain the crowd. She LOVES dancing to the music.

Making a request - or flirting with the band - or maybe doing a little of both.

Oh My, Where do I begin....

We have missed a whole entire month! i had all good intentions of blogging last week before the end of April. Oh well, what's one week late. After you see all we have been doing this month you will know why (and hopefully forgive me) I am so behind.

We Sure have been busy! Let's see, where to begin? Well there was Easter weekend and egg hunts, a ride on thomas the train, Vet School Open House, and a weeks vacation to the grand folks house, then our first sleep over with Francie. Here are just a few highlights..........

Easter Sunday 2010

Dying Easter Eggs with Friends after our egg hunt

Visit to the Feed and Seed store to see the easter chicks and ducks. The bunnies were all sold out by the time we got there. Mary Margo wanted to kiss the chicks. So ...... we let her.

Thomas the Train

Mary Margo with her ticket. Ready to ride Thomas the Train.

Mary Margo, Francie, and Collin waiting on the train.

We had a wedding shower here for one of the girls at work. This is Mary Margo eating the best cupcakes in the world. My friend, Haley, made them...she bakes the best cakes EVER!

Vet School Open House
Every year the Vet School has Open House. There are petting zoos, animal exibits, breed parades, horses, cows, and lots of FUN! This year the weather was a little sketchy but it didn't keep us from going and enjoying all the animals.

On Sunday after Open House, Mary Margo went home with Nanna and DoDaddy so that me and Dusty could work on the house. We had a full week to work on the living room. Dusty covered the ceiling with bead board, rewired the lighting, and we both painted, painted and painted some more. We still have a few things to finish up but overall it was a VERY productive week.

we took a few little breaks throughout our week and enjoyed being just the two of us again. We went out to dinner and went places after 7pm....just because we could. It was nice! On Saturday, we joined the "Bike Bash". An event Auburn has annually to raise awareness for biking. It was a fun start to our Saturday morning! And since the ride started just down the street from our house it made us love our house even more. Even if it is a lot of hard work at times.

And for the GRAND FINALE of our busy life. Francie came to spend the night with us Thursday night. Her little brother, Foster, was born on Thursday. So, we took her in for the night so that her mommy and daddy could have a little time to welcome him in.

We took a little bike ride down to the park to feed the turtles and, to our surprise, there was a band playing so we stopped and listened for a minute.

The End....all caught up on the life of the Hall family. Sorry I got behind...I will try not to do that again.

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW

2 years old and three snow days! That's a record. Of course, we played in the snow on Friday with everyone else in the State of Alabama. Willie played with us too. It was his first time to see snow and he didn't know what to think about it. He pounced around in it like he was chasing something. Mary Margo enjoyed it. She threw snow balls. Once she figured out to pick up the snow with her mittens on. It was a little difficult! Then we built a snow man and climbed around in the garden boxes.

Sliding down the slide! We had to go in after this slide because she busted at the bottom and was covered in mud. Oops!
