Little Momma

Here is Mary Margo being a sweet little Momma to her baby, or "Baabee" as she says.  She gives her kisses and hugs and pats her on the back.  It is so cute to watch her interact with her toys and copy what you do.  She also puts baby to bed and says "nigh nigh".  Girls are SOOOO Much FUN!!!

Fun with Aunt Mandy

Aunt Mandy came for a short visit this week while on spring break.  Mandy and Mary Margo had lots of fun playing outside and visiting the neighborhood parks!  

We painted Mary Margo's fingernails for the first time while Mandy was here to help Mommy hold her hands still.

Snow baby

Snow, Snow and more Snow!  It was in the 70's yesterday and this is what we saw when we woke up today.  It fell all day long!  

Today was the second time Mary Margo saw snow.  It snowed last year when she was around 4 months old.  

We finally went out and Dusty had to crank up the RC car.

Poor Baby!  She really likes to be outside... sun or rain and even snow.  She wants to be outside.

Where is your nose?  and your belly, eyes, ears..........  Mary Margo is just soaking up everything.  She is saying more words now but her favorite is "Dog".  Everything is a dog.  We did get her to say "Phoebe" and she can say sock, shoe, juice, Mama, Dada, book, baby, ball.  I am working hard trying to get her to say her name.  

I am also teaching her to sew!  No really, but she does enjoy sitting in my lap and watching the needle jump up and down.  She will sit and watch as long as I am sewing.  If we ever take a break, she pushes all the buttons on the machine.  That can get a little tricky for me when I go back to sewing.

Ice Cream and Pig Tails

Today Mary Margo had chocolate ice cream as a treat. I really wish I had a video of it because she was so funny. She would open her mouth as far as it would possibly go and then she would tense up all the muscles in her head and shake her head back and forth! She also patted her belly in between bites. This means "please" in baby sign language. She was hilarious!

Mary Margo also got her first set of pig tails today! I finally tried it after Ashley brought it up over lunch. Thanks Ashley. I love them. So now I am going to have to start buying double the hair bows! Girls are TOO MUCH FUN!!! I love it!

A little visit to colorado

Dusty and I slipped off to Telluride, Colorado to ski with some good friends for the weekend.  We had a wonderful time but we sure were ready to see Mary Margo when we got home.  We missed her tremendously and we look forward to taking her with us one day when she gets old enough to enjoy the snow as much as we do.
