Safe Place in the Storm

Friday night we had a storm blow through Auburn that required us to get in our safe place and ride it out.  Mary Margo got creative and made her own safe place with a wicker drawer.  Only problem, she was just a little too big to curl up comfortably and go to sleep.  But she tried....really hard.

Easter is on it's Way

Little Peeps all in a row.

Saturday we had some friends over for our first Easter Egg hunt!  It was so much fun.  We had good treats, good friends, and good fun!  What more could you ask for?  Oh and PERFECT weather....which has been a little sketchy these days.

I made bunny ears for everyone.  Of course, 3 out of the 4 kids are under the age of 3 and they wouldn't keep them on.  The following pictures are of Mary Margo hunting for eggs.  She didn't really understand the whole process.  She just wanted to pick up the eggs, try to hold them all in her hands, and then get the prizes out one by one.  Needless to say, we didn't collect that many eggs.  But we all had fun and Mary Margo discovered the goodness of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.  Mommy's favorite!

Little Momma

Here is Mary Margo being a sweet little Momma to her baby, or "Baabee" as she says.  She gives her kisses and hugs and pats her on the back.  It is so cute to watch her interact with her toys and copy what you do.  She also puts baby to bed and says "nigh nigh".  Girls are SOOOO Much FUN!!!

Fun with Aunt Mandy

Aunt Mandy came for a short visit this week while on spring break.  Mandy and Mary Margo had lots of fun playing outside and visiting the neighborhood parks!

We painted Mary Margo's fingernails for the first time while Mandy was here to help Mommy hold her hands still.

Aunt Mandy you are so funny!

Snow baby

Snow, Snow and more Snow!  It was in the 70's yesterday and this is what we saw when we woke up today.  It fell all day long!

Today was the second time Mary Margo saw snow.  It snowed last year when she was around 4 months old.

We finally went out and Dusty had to crank up the RC car.

Here is Mary Margo taking a stroll down the sidewalk in the snow.

She doesn't know what happened to her hands.  She can't find them in her mittens.

Mary Margo and Mommy

Poor Baby!  She really likes to be outside... sun or rain and even snow.  She wants to be outside.
"I wanna go back outside"
