Party in the Pool

SUMMER IS HERE! 

We got Mary Margo a pool this weekend just in time for Memorial Day and her 9 month Birthday!  She thinks it is pretty cool.  Although she likes to hang over the side and pull the grass rather than splash in the water.  She just wants the best of both worlds!  We are going to have so much fun this summer play'n in the pool!

Mary Margo meets Pheobe

The moment we have all been waiting for happened today!  Mary Margo found Pheobe.  Both Mary Margo and Pheobe have acknowledged each other but never cared to get close.  Today was the day, Mary Margo got brave and made the first move to be friends.  Pheobe was open to the idea.  She gave Mary Margo a kiss and here a life long friendship was made.  For the rest of the day I couldn't keep Mary Margo from crawling toward Pheobe.  Enjoy the video!

Auburn CityFest

Saturday was CityFest in Auburn.  It is a festival at the park with lots of arts and crafts and bands, food and fun shows.  We went early to see the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack show and then we just walked around and enjoyed the scenery!

Then we sat on a blanket and listened to the band.  Mary Margo thought the blanket was boring so she spent her time exploring the grass and dirt.  She had lots of fun getting dirty!

When we got home Mary Margo could not sit still.  Now that she can move she wants to check out everything.  This is where I found her, under the end table pulling on the speaker cord that usually stays under the carpet.  

A Present for Mary Margo

Mary Margo received a gift from her friend, Emma Lynn Potts.  Emma Lynn wrapped it all by herself and Mary Margo had so much fun opening it.  She enjoyed playing with the paper just as much as she liked the blanket.   She loves things that make lots of noise.  She finally got it open and it was a beautiful purple and pink blanket.  She loves it!!  Thank you Emma Lynn

I Can't Decide

I can't decide which would be more fun.  To Crawl?  Or to Walk?  I am getting smarter and stronger by the minute and I am now pulling up on things like my crib and the coffee table.  It is lots of fun!!!

Taking Off.....In Reverse!

Mary Margo is learning how to move around and get places.  She is just doing it in reverse and getting in to not so desirable spaces.  Here she is under the coffee table.

She wanted the remote on top of the table she just couldn't figure out how to get to it.
