Wednesday afternoon, Dusty worked hard on a surprise for Mary Margo. He met us in the carport when we got home and lead us into the living room. He even made me close my eyes. He was so excited! The big surprise was a CARDBOARD BOX HOUSE! Mary Margo absolutely LOVES it ! She goes in and out the doors and plays peak-a-boo in the windows. She just laughs and squeals when you try to get her. It is so much fun.

Gulf Shores
We went to the beach this past weekend with The Webbs. Despite hurricane Ike in the Gulf, it was a great trip.
The family
Let me just say, "WOW, what a difference a few months make. Our last trip to the beach, Mary Margo was crawling. This trip she was walking and exploring. She loved the sand and the ocean. Warren and her collected shells in their buckets and had lots of fun together.
So much for a relaxing vacation at the beach.
Warren and Mary Margo waking up to cartoons and milk. This is Warren's couch and he didn't take too kindly to Mary Margo sitting with him. He did at least let us get a picture.

They Say It's My Birthday!!!
Mary Margo celebrated her 1st Birthday Saturday with friends and family. She did good and didn't even get her dress dirty. She was a sweetheart!
She thought the cake was too pretty to mess up. : )
We gave her a spoon to see if it would encourage her to eat and make a mess. It didn't work. But let me assure you it works every other time we eat!
Happy Family ready for the PARTY!!
Mary Margo had lots of fun opening her gifts and playing with the wrapping paper.

On the Move
It's official, she is walking. Mary Margo has been taking little steps for a few weeks but Friday she walked across the room to me at daycare when i picked her up and she hasn't stopped. One week shy of her first birthday! We are excited and ready to run! (After her, of course)

New Hair Bows
For all of you out there that can't see me in Mary Margo, take a good look at the picture above. This is me when I was little ....cutting the eyes being prissy. And for everyone who knew me back then, you see right through it! Believe it or not she is starting to look like her momma!
We did what girls do best today! We went shopping! Mary Margo needed some new BIGGER hair bows. When we got home we had to model them. So instead of showing them off one at a time, we put all of them in her hair at one time. We were just being silly. She was just so cute I had to share the pics. Girls are too much fun!!!

The Big Move
Last weekend we moved from our little home on Annalue Drive to a new (old) house on Gay Street. Our new house was built in 1956 and needs lots of repairs. We have big plans to start a blog about our adventures so watch for the blog address. Mary Margo has been such a fun little girl while we moved. Here are a few pictures of all the things she has gotten into.
Mary Margo helping move boxes. Such a strong girl!
Her house warming gift from her grandparents. She loved it! We went for a walk last night and she thought she was big stuff. She propped her foot up on the "dashboard" and laid back for the ride.

Beach Baby
Beach Baby, Beach Baby there in the sand!
I am off to the ocean. Catch me if you can?
A little bathing Beauty
Mary Margo did great at the beach. She played in the sand and the pool and loved it. She played so hard that she took a few naps on the beach too. She wasn't that crazy about the ocean. I think the waves were much to big and coming too fast. All in all, it was a great trip and we look forward to taking her back for many years to come.
